EXECUTIVE MAYOR LEADS OVERSIGHT VISIT TO KWAZANELE EXT 6 SEWER RETICULATION PROJECT
KwaZanele - 28 September 2026 The Executive Mayor, Alderwoman led an oversight visit to the ongoing sewer reticulation installation project at Kwazanele Extension 6.
The high-level delegation included MMC BG Motha, MMC TC Motha, and Speaker NS Xaba, who were joined by Municipal Manager Mr M Kunene, Director of Technical Services Ms ZP Duma, technicians from the Project Management Unit (PMU), and the Chief of Staff in the Office of the Executive Mayor.
This critical infrastructure project aims to upgrade and maintain the sewer reticulation network serving households in KwaZanele Ext 6, improving sanitation services and reducing blockages that have affected residents.
During the site visit, the Executive Mayor emphasized the Municipality's commitment to delivering reliable sanitation infrastructure and ensuring that technical teams have the support needed to complete this project on schedule.
The presence of political and administrative leadership demonstrates the Municipality's hands-on approach to monitoring service delivery projects and addressing challenges proactively.
