The MEC for the Gauteng Department of Roads and Transport, Ms. Kedibone Diale-Tlabela, hosted the official launch of the Vereeniging Intermodal Facility at the Vereeniging Taxi Rank. Also in attendance was the MMC for Transport, Cllr Ndwandwe, representing the Sedibeng District and Emfuleni Local Municipality….
The Municipality welcomed this development as a significant step toward strengthening integrated public transport in the region. The facility was expected to enhance commuter safety, accessibility, and efficiency, while stimulating economic activity and supporting business growth in the Vereeniging CBD through increased movement of people and investment opportunities.
The Municipality reaffirmed its commitment to collaborating with the Gauteng Provincial Government to advance infrastructure projects aimed at improving service delivery and enhancing the daily experience of residents and commuters.
