Kgetlengrivier Local Municipality Invites Residents to Comment on the Draft 2024/2025 Annual Report
Kgetlengrivier Local Municipality hereby invites all residents, community stakeholders, businesses, ward committees, and interested parties to participate in the public consultation process on the Draft Annual Report for the 2024/2025 financial year .
In terms of Section 127(5) of the Municipal Finance Management Act (Act 56 of 2003) , once an annual report has been tabled before Council, the Municipality is required to make the report available to the public and invite members of the community to submit representations and comments.
The Municipal Public Accounts Committee (MPAC) will facilitate the public participation meetings to provide residents with an opportunity to consider the Draft Annual Report and make inputs as part of the Municipality’s oversight and accountability processes.

Residents are encouraged to attend the meeting scheduled for their area and participate in discussions on the Municipality’s Draft Annual Report for the 2024/2025 financial year. Community participation plays an important role in promoting transparency, accountability, and good governance.
