Rand Water has notified the Water and Sanitation Business Unit that it plans to replace the Ga-Rankuwa water meter. The work is scheduled from 18:00 on 10 September 2026 to 06:00 on 11 September 2026.

The areas listed in the notice may not include all areas that may be affected by the water outage, and the Water and Sanitation Business Unit apologises in advance if this occurs.
Consumers should also note that the Water and Sanitation Business Unit does not accept any responsibility for any damage to household appliances because of the outage. The City of Tshwane regulations are clear on this matter.
