Year-end Processing affects June municipal accounts

Overstrand Municipality has advised that June municipal accounts will be issued later than usual. The delay is due to year-end accounting and reconciliation processes for the 2025/26 financial year. Residents who have not received statements by 6 July 2026 should email enquiries@overstrand.gov.za.

Residents are advised that June municipal accounts will be issued later than usual due to the year-end accounting and reconciliation processes required to close the 2025/26 financial year.

Overstrand Municipality apologises for any inconvenience this may cause. Residents who have not received their June municipal statement by 6 July 2026 are encouraged to request a copy by emailing enquiries@overstrand.gov.za and providing their municipal account number.

Please note that the annual rates and tariff increases that take effect on 1 July 2026 will only be reflected on July municipal accounts, which are payable by 20 August 2026.
