Council has approved a 15% incentive for the advance payment of Rates, Refuse and Electricity Availability for the 2026/2027 financial year for all owners of properties except for State Owned properties who pay on or before 30 September 2026.

This incentive will only be applicable to ratepayers on condition that all accounts are paid in full, as at the date of application which will be effective from 01 July 2026. Should you wish to pay in September 2026, you would need to ensure that the August 2026 payment is fully settled to avoid incurring arrears and interest on the account.
The incentive application form, together with the proof of payment must be returned to the Enquiries Counter at Room 14, Lister Clarence Building, at 221 Murchison Street or emailed to the addresses listed above to effect the incentive on the respective municipal account.
