Building Stronger Men Through Dialogue
The Office of the Speaker hosted a Men's Dialogue at the Civic Centre Main Hall on Thursday, 16 July 2026.
This community building initiative brought together government departments, law enforcement agencies, faith-based organisations and community stakeholders to discuss social challenges affecting men, families and communities.
The dialogue addressed gender-based violence and femicide, anger management, drug abuse, prostitution, responsible fatherhood and the role of faith leaders in promoting ethical conduct. These discussions reinforced the idea that addressing social challenges requires collective action, with families, communities, government institutions, and civil society working together to create safer and healthier communities.
Healthy communities begin with responsible individuals.
Men are encouraged to seek support when facing challenges such as anger, substance abuse or emotional distress. Seeking help early can prevent conflict, strengthen families and contribute to safer communities for everyone.
