The City of Ekurhuleni has ramped up the road rehabilitation programme, with patching of potholes currently underway on Former Road in Anderbolt, Theron Road in Edenvale, and Fleming Road in Meadowdale.

The initiative forms part of the City’s Fixing the Frontline Campaign, which aims to improve service delivery and ensure motorists travel on safe, and well-maintained roads.

City Manager Kagiso Lerutla has been visiting depots across Ekurhuleni to engage with employees regarding their need for resources and the tools of trade.

Lerutla said the campaign is designed to strengthen frontline services and guarantee that residents receive the highest quality of municipal support.

The City has urged residents to note ongoing rehabilitation works and exercise caution when driving through affected areas.
