This notice serves to inform interested and affected stakeholders of the following framework approved as draft for public comment by the Midvaal Local Municipality:
Draft Accommodation Establishment Policy
(Council Resolution: C 3813/ 06 /2026)
The draft development plan and urban design framework is advertised for public comment in terms of the Section 13(2) of the Midvaal Spatial Planning and Land Use Management By-law, 2017 and the Municipal Systems Act, 2000 from date of approval for a period of 60-days.
Any persons wishing to view the draft document may do so during normal office hours at Development and Planning Department or by using the link or QR code to our municipal website as provided below:

All written comments may be submitted to Development and Planning or emailed to planning@midvaal.gov.za
Comments must be submitted on or before Thur sday, 31 st August 2026
