The Department of Small Business Development convened a Red Tape Reduction and Ease of Doing Business Engagement in the King Sabata Dalindyebo Municipality as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the local business environment and support enterprise development.
The engagement brought together representatives from government, the business community and key stakeholders to discuss practical measures aimed at reducing regulatory challenges, improving service delivery and creating a more enabling environment for Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
The session provided an opportunity for stakeholders to share experiences, identify areas requiring improvement and explore collaborative solutions that will make it easier for businesses to establish, operate and expand.
The initiative forms part of government’s broader commitment to promoting entrepreneurship, attracting investment and advancing inclusive local economic development through improved coordination and more business-friendly municipal systems.
