KSD Municipality successfully hosted a Golf Day on 25 September 2026 as part of the Municipality’s Tourism Month programme, bringing together prominent figures, golfers, business stakeholders and partners in a spirit of collaboration, networking and tourism promotion.
The event was further strengthened by the participation of the Executive Mayor of KSD Municipality, who joined fellow golfers on the course and demonstrated the Municipality’s commitment to supporting initiatives that promote tourism, partnerships and local economic development.
The Golf Day was hosted in partnership with OR Tambo District Municipality, reflecting the importance of collaboration between municipalities and stakeholders in advancing the tourism and economic development agenda of the region.
The successful administration and coordination of the event was led by Mr M. Mandla, who expressed appreciation to all partners, participants and the organising team for their contribution to the success of the tournament.
Mr Mandla further committed to making the Golf Day an annual event, with the intention of expanding partnerships and creating an even greater platform for tourism promotion, business networking, investment opportunities and local economic development.
