On the 17 TH of August 2026, King Sabata Dalindyebo Municipality held an IDP, Budget and PMS Representative Forum Meeting at Jerald Raymond Hawkes Stadium, bringing together key stakeholders to strengthen integrated planning and improve service delivery.
In his welcoming address, the Executive Mayor, Cllr M.S. Dudumayo emphasised the need to use the remaining months of the Council term to accelerate service delivery, strengthen accountability and ensure effective implementation of the Municipality’s plans.
He called for honest reflection, meaningful community participation and stronger alignment between planning, budgeting, implementation and performance, stressing that success must be measured by tangible improvements in the lives of KSD residents.
The Executive Mayor further urged the Municipality to remain stable, responsive and accountable beyond the current political term, calling for urgency, listening and decisive action in building a Municipality that delivers for its people.
The municipality will consolidate inputs from stakeholders to strengthen alignment between the IDP, Budget and Performance Management System, ensuring that development initiatives remain responsive to community needs and support sustainable service delivery.
